Xavier woke up today from an unusual banging on his door , he groaned at first and went back to sleep but then the banging followed with his grandfather shouting his name . He quickly got up and opened the door and came face to face with his grandmother. Her worried face concerned him , he rushes downstairs and meets with his grandfather standing watching Television with his Mother

Xavier said, "What happened, why are you shouting?"

His grandfather looks at him and then goes back to looking at the TV , his eyes follows him and look at TV too where news is playing , he gets confused as why would his grandfather shout his name while watching news but his confusion clears up when he sees a familiar face and a house . There was a murder in the town and the person who got killed was no other than SAM.

At first he couldn't believe his eyes , he moved further and watched the news clearly.

The reporter said , " Sam Collins , 19 years old boy of the secluded community town is murdered brutally. The parents came this morning and saw his lifeless body in the living room , the statement is that the Murder was executed between midnight to 5 am in the morning. Police have reached but no other information has been stated , investigation around the body is going on right now ,We will keep you updated "

Xavier runs upstairs and goes to take a bath , changes to fresh clothes. He runs down and gets on his bike and directly goes to the crime scene aka. Sam's house. Everyone is there , police , ambulance, his mother desperately crying to let her see her son. The people surrounding the house trying to get a look at Sam now lifeless body. Xavier tried to get in but couldn't .

After a few minutes the parademics and other people brought out a wholly wrapped body in white sheets outside , Sam's mother rushed towards him to see him but the police blocked her. There are gasps and everyone is mumbling over the body .

Police Pov: (Mr. Hill)

This town is one of the safest town , the crime rate of this town is near Zero , there is rarely any cases to look into .

This morning I was eating breakfast with my wife , she works as administrator in the Oxford high school of the town. In the middle of the Breakfast I get a call from the station that there is an emergency and I am required to be there urgently. I hurriedly got to the location of the crime scene in my Jeep , there is a crowd standing outside the particular house. Me and my team went inside to see what happened and to our shock we see a dead body of the boy not older that 18/19 years old , we inform parademics and ambulance to reach here as well , called a forensic team . He is brutally murder , it doesn't look like a simple murder which has been done for robbery or anything. It was a planned murder . Someone who had something against Sam. First we sealed the house so that no one could enter and secondly sealed the crime scene .

As soon as the forensic team arrives we go towards the body and the forensic team start to look and examine the Sam's body . While they were doing all the examination we started to look around the house to find any other clues , me and other officers started to look around, there's a trail of blood from stairs to kitchen ,

"Looks like he was attacked here first" I said.

My team starts to look around the kitchen

"Sir we've found something" the officer shouts

I go there to look at what have they found ,

"Fuck" I said as soon as I saw a hand cutted from the wrist. It was laying around the table on the floor.

"Sir we need you here" called one of the forensic team member.

As I walk towards the living room I see few blood stains and hairs . I tell my team to collect those hairs and go ahead to the forensic team . I reach and I see Sam's body covered in white sheet.

" You called?" I ask

" Yes sir , I called you , I am Kevin and I want you to see something" a guy with blonde hairs says

He goes towards Sam's lifeless body and takes the sheet out , and then I see his bald dried blooded head , looks like the killer snatched every single hair out , Kevin looks at me and then looks at Sam , he further takes the whole white sheet .

I couldn't believe what I was seeing right now, nothing like this has ever , ever happened in this town , on Sam's body there was a Massive number "8" carved on his upper body , from his chest to his abdomen , it looked like it was carved with a blunt object , the lines of the number where not sharp , it was intentionally done , this Psycho either wanted Sam to feel the pain or wanted to satisfy his hunger of killing, he took his sweet time with him.

Kevin wrapped Sam again and said , " This mark was carved after Sam died , the reason of his death is the killer slit his throat , we need to take him to forensic lab to investigate further"

I nod my head and let the forensic team take him to the lab.

Sam's mother is wrecked and totally in disbelief that her son is no more. She is crying and thrashing and requesting to let her see her son.

I walk towards my jeep , but I see a boy standing far away from the crowd watching all this , I asked my colleague "who's that?" , my colleague (Matthew) followed my eyes and said, "He is new in this town , Mr William's grandson" and I look at him , there is no way Mr William has a grandchild, it's not possible. Instead of telling him this I say , " I want all the information about him and what connection does he have with Sam" , my colleague nods and we continue our way to the station.

We reach in 10 to 15 minutes and I call the best officer of the station for the meeting.

" As everyone knows what happened today at town , there's a murder of a boy not more that 18/19 years . This is not done for the purpose of robbery or anything, this is personal or this killer is psychotic , the killer left a mark on his body the number"8" , half of you go and find out the connection of this number 8 with Sam and the other half of you I want you guys to go around the town and investigate what has happened on the night of murder , I want everything, every information, where was he ? What was he doing on the night he was murdered? Every single detail "

I showed the photo of Sam before and after the murder and all the images we captured on the murder scene . Matthew came beside me and told me that his parents will come tomorrow for investigation. He also brought the new kid's data , his name is Xavier and I was right he is not Mr. William's grandchild. I have a feeling he has something to do with the murder .

After years again Mr. William and I are going to meet and this time I won't let him go. The story , the investigation that started many years back will start again and this time I will expose his true colour to the whole town.

"Let's go" I say

"Where? " Matthew asks and followed me

" It's time to call Mr . William again in this station and this time he will answer all the questions, let's go and get him , he is the star , of this town we will personally go and fetch him " I smirk and start my jeep.

It's time the history repeats itself and it's time I get all my answers.

We reach Mr. William's house and knocks on his door , what a day , it's the man himself who opens the door , he looks shocked

" Hello William, we meet again , long time no see buddy , looks like Karma came to hit you"

I can see he is not happy looking at me and I am so happy . He stands there not saying anything.

" So will you walk by yourself or shall I drag you to station ? " I say in my sweet voice .
