After watching the scenario at Sam's house , Xavier couldn't stand there , he goes on his way to school . As he was riding his bike he saw Anne sitting in a park on the bench . Xavier parks his bike and goes to Anne . At first she didn't realise that Xavier was sitting beside her , it looked like she was in deep thoughts.

Xavier thought about starting a conversation , "Hey" he said .

Anne gets startled by his voice , she looks at him and then stands up and walks away . Xavier catches up with her and says , "Are you still mad at me ?"

She looks at him for a second and says in a low voice , she stammers and says ," Did you kill him?"

Xavier's mind stops after hearing her , she repeats , "Xavier did you kill Sam?"

"I heard you the first time and no I did not kill him .

Why would you think I did?" He said

"You literally threatened him that you will kill him " she exclaimed.

"Yes I did and I did that in the heat of the moment, that doesn't mean I would literally kill him" he explains .

Anne goes to nearby tree and sits there with her head in her hands . Xavier can see that something other than Sam's death is bothering her . He goes to her and sits down with her . He doesn't speak , he waits for her to say something . He wants to tell her that whatever that is bothering her she can tell him and he'll be there to listen and work it out with her but he decides not to tell her anything.

Half an hour passes by neither of them say a word , utter silence between them . They just sat there with Anne's head now leaning to the tree and Xavier looking at her .

"I am scared " Anne says after a few minutes

" Xavier I am an orphan , I don't have a home . My whole life I stayed behind shadows , maintained my reputation, got good grades and minded my own business. When you fought with Sam because of me I knew this will not end good . And now he is dead , he has been murdered by some psycho . I can't be in spotlight what if police finds out about you and Sam's fight ? The reason for the fight which is me . What if they take you to investigate ? What will happen to you and me ? I don't want people to think that Sam got killed because of me . I don't have anyone to protect me I am all alone and I have to take care of myself for which I can't get involved in matters like this ." Anne says this , tears falling for her eyes .

Xavier looks at her trying to digest all the information , after a while he says ,

" You are not alone Anne , you have me and I'll never leave your side . I didn't know that you are an orphan and I am sorry to get you involved like this . You are right the police will for sure call both of us to investigate but there is nothing to be scared of, the truth won't change and the truth is I didn't kill him and I promise whatever the consequences is I will stand with you and I promise I'll never cause you any trouble . One more thing Anne never ever say that you don't have anyone to rely on or to protect you because I am here , anyone who wants to hurt you has to go through me to reach you and I'll never let anyone pass , no body is going to hurt you . I'll protect you even if I have to fight a devil , I'll burn this world and make sure the person sees the hell , the most brutal form of human if that person hurts you "

Anne looks scared but something inside her tells her that he is not kidding , his dark orbs are filled with honesty and fire , the fire that will show no mercy on this world if anyone tries to hurt her and she knows it.

"Why?" The only thing she could ask him.

" Because Anne you are the reason I survived in this town , you are the reason I wake up every morning and I look forward to the day , you are my happiness you don't even know what you are to me and I couldn't comprehend how did you become so important for me but one thing I know that is whatever I am saying right now is true . You have become my sun , the light of my life . I know this might come suddenly but I love you Anne , alot .

You might think that I am not in my right state but I do and I'll prove it to you"

Xavier confesses to Anne .

Anne looks at him , she couldn't believe that Xavier loves her , Anne has never felt what love is and right now when Xavier is confessing his love , she doesn't know what to do .

" Xavier right now I don't think I am the right person for you . You can get anyone , don't waste your love on me , find a beautiful girl someone who can give you everything "

Xavier looks at her and goes, " I love you Anne and you don't have to say it back , I understand you have lots of things on your plate right now but after all this mess gets right , when everything goes back to normal , we will do this in the right manner again and then you can say it back only if by then you love me too okay , now don't take any stress"

Anne and Xavier sit there for an hour , both of them thinking what the future holds for them , what will happen next and how and when will this mess will get solved out.

After an hour they both stand up and walks towards the exit . Xavier offers to give a ride but Anne denies that, she has to go to the bookstore, her shift is going to start .

Before parting ways they look at each other and with a heavy sigh they bid their goodbyes.

Anne turns and starts to walk away but after walking a few steps she turns around and looks back . Xavier sees her looking at him , Anne sprint towards him and hugs him tightly showing how much he means to her and how much she trusts him .

Xavier gets startled by her sudden action but collects himself and hugs her , wrapping his arms around her showing that he will forever protect her and keep her safe in his arms .

After few moments they part again and this time Anne smiles bright before waving at him and walks away . Xavier too walks towards his bike and gets on it . He rides back home , opens the front door and sees nobody is at home , he walks to the kitchen and sees a note .

Me , grandmother and your grandfather are going to Sam's house . Will be back till 8. Order something to eat , money is kept in your room .

Don't go out till we come back

Xavier goes up to his room and orders his meal , gets a warm bath and Changes his clothes, he notice a faint fragrance of Anne where she hugged him . He keeps the sweatshirt in his cupboard wanting to keep up the fragrance.

He eats his meal and decides to take nap. As he lays down he thinks about Anne and how she hugged him. There's a smile on his face . He feels happy but at the same time he worries about the police , Anne is right , police will find out or they might have already know about his and Sam's fight .

He prays that Anne doesn't get involve in this .

With all this he drifts to his dreamland, dreaming about him and Anne.

Little does Xavier know that this is just the start of the hurricane that Anne and he will face .
