Mr.Hill (Police officer) Pov :

Sitting in the car all I could think about the incidents that happened 17 years back . Old theatre again got caught in the midst of the murder. Last time the culprit got out of our hands but this time whoever this person is I am not going to leave him .

I see a crowd gathered at the location. Breaking through the crowd I reach there , the rotting smell is so strong I smelt it from the car . I look up and see a man hanging there , brutally murdered . This has to be done by some man , it's a man work .

"Hello sir " a familiar voice calls me from the back
The blond hair guy it is .
"Kevin right?" I ask . He nods , he signs me to follow him. Me and other officer of mine , my partner
Victor we followed Kevin inside the theatre. He took us to the screening room . As he stopped and  signaled us to come near to get a look of the things.
We wear our gloves and start to investigate
"This is the room where the man was murdered .
He was killed first and then hanged outside for the world to see" Kevin , forensic guy declares. He leaves me and my team to further investigate.

"Everyone shatter around , see if we can find anything that is used for murder , any weapon or look out for anything that has blood on it. I want everyone to be alert not even a single thing should be missed " I announce to my team . The team shatters and starts to take a look of the whole room ,
Soon after 5 minutes in the search I get called by a team member reaching there I see a detached leg under the seat . Maybe got thrown in a fight , we called forensic department to collect it.

In the search of 3 hours we found nails which are used to pierce the victim's face , his both arms and another leg , we also found his detached penis outside in the ground out of theatre , it was half eaten by crows.
Another Weapon we found was an axe with man's blood . A carpet with his blood and few alcohol bottles.

We give all the evidence to forensic team and go outside. We get the man down , his remaining body rotting and eaten by crows . His face was quite unrecognisable.

"Sir" Victor comes to me , "Journalists and town people are waiting for a statement. " I follow him and goes for a interview.
A lady in black , her badge say Miss . Shanon
"Sir , what is the update on this murder ? Is it related to Sam's murder ? What about Sam's investigation?"
Bombarded with all the questions to which I reply ,

"We have collected all the evidence that might be very helpful for us to reach towards killer. We still don't know if it is related or not , forensic team is working on it . About Sam's murder our investigation is still going on. If there will be any update we will surely disclose it to you"

A tap on my shoulder by Victor pulls me out of the crowd . His face expression tells me that something is on . Kevin shouts for us to come over towards the forensic team.
"Sir we need to take the body in the lab" he says. We keep the body the ambulance.
"Victor who saw the body first?" I ask him , Victor looks in the file "Anne Bronte , she called in the morning 6:11 but when the team reached no one was here" he says.

Hearing her name , I knew something is off . I look around to see if any CCTV's are here or not . I see one on the pole across the road , that's enough to see . I ask for the CCTV footage and leave for the station.

After few minutes.
"Sir we have the footage" Victor announce on his entry .

A clip plays of the night , I see a man entering and then after a hour another person in hood enters.
The hooded person exits between 4:45 - 5:15 am .
We still couldn't see the hooded person's face and the CCTV is not high enough to see how the man was hanged up on the crown of the theatres.

"Sir I want to show you something else" Victor says and plays another clip. A clip where this Man who is murdered and beloved grandson of William is fighting for the girl . This man was trying to harass this girl apparently Xavier loves I guess. He threaten him in the video. The man leaves and afterwards the clip gets all static .

"What happened?" I ask confused. "That night the CCTV was shut down for 15 minutes" Victor explains.
"Why?" Victor shakes his head "I asked the control room , they have no idea"
A sign leaves my mouth , "who was this girl ?Anne?"
Same who called"
Victor says Yes .

"Victor when did all this happened? The fight with Xavier" I asked  "almost a week ago" I get the answer

"Sir there's one more thing, the man was identified , his name is Frank Nolen and he worked for Mr. William " a smile spreads across my face as I hear this , everything somehow rotates around this Anne , Xavier and William.

"Victor there is something that we are missing , something we can't see within all the midst"I say
Another team member announces himself "sir Forensic team called , they want to meet you" he says and takes his exit.

Me and Victor reaches the lab . We meet Kevin near the door , he was waiting for us.  As we entered the lab , we saw Frank's body now cleaned , we can see all the wounds clearly.
Kevin makes a round around the table and speaks

"Sir look at his face , his face is pierced by sharp object like nail , pins or something similar. His body have multiple wounds from axe . His tongue has been detached . His penis , legs , arm were also detached. The axe which was used was not sharp because the edges around the wound doesn't look clean "

Kevin continues speaking "One more thing Sir" , he turns the body on his stomach.
"There's a massive 7 carved on his back , similar to number 8 carved on Sam's body . Sir it's the same killer"

I am stunned right now , there's a killer out on count down to kill probably more people.

Kevin continues , " Sir I think it's a countdown . The killer is counting reverse. Sam was 8 and this man 7 . I think he will kill more 6 according to my theory "

That does make sense , killer is out going to kill more 6 people . We need to do something.
Victor and I leave after that , "Victor let's get Anne and Xavier . I will go fetch them  , you go to the station and make an arrest warrant on both of their name's " I leave towards Anne place first .

15 minutes later I reach a small apartment studio place . I knock the door and there in all glory Anne Bronte opens the door . As soon as she sees me , she got tensed up
"Miss Bronte , you are under arrest for being a prime suspect in Murder along with your friend Xavier"
As I say this , she shakes her head and start to shiver.
"Miss we have to take you in " I say again.
She looks at me , "Can I change into something appropriate please?" She asks , I allow her to do so and then I take her to the jeep sit  , the whole ride she has been crying. We reach at Xavier's place within 5 minutes.
To my luck he opened the door. He looks at Anne and probably understood what's happening.

I say , "Let's go to station shall we ? I don't think I need to tell you why" , he nods . From behind his grandmother and mother comes.
"What happened sir?" His mother ask in a worried tone.
"Your son with Miss Anne here is under arrest for the Murder of Frank Nolen" I say as I take Xavier with me.

As walking down the driveway we cross path with William. He looks at us specially Anne. His look towards Anne is very suspicious.
"William no bail for him till 2 days , I have a warrant"
I announce and make Anne and Xavier sit in the jeep.

"They are in custody" I say before driving away .
